Welcome

Welcome

Welcome to the autumn edition of our newsletter.

I guess it’s testament to how busy we have been over the past few months that we haven’t managed to produce a newsletter for a while! Not a bad thing I suppose when I think back on all the happy weddings we have had the honour of planning and attending.  We are now back in the middle of our busy autumn season with Easter upon us once again and it's time to fill you all in on some of the happenings here on the Island.

I particularly love this time of year as the days develop into the clear warm, sunny days of winter and nightfall brings that familiar crisp chill to the air. Time to light a fire and curl up with a good book and a glass of wine!  Well, I guess that’s wishful thinking - for the team at Stradbroke Weddings at least -  we’re busy adding the finishing touches to our autumn & winter wedding plans, so we can be sure the only hitches we encounter are those of our brides to our grooms.

So sit back, make a cup of tea and enjoy this edition of our newsletter. There’s plenty of new ideas and projects we’re working on here to keep abreast of the ever changing demands of our clients and the latest trends in wedding styling and coordination. And remember, if there’s anything in particular that you would like to read about in these pages, please feel free to drop us a line and let us know.

On behalf of all the team at Stradbroke Weddings, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you a very safe and Happy Easter.

Warmest regards
Jeannie

Sunny Roses

Sunny Roses

When Kara & Dave recently tied the knot at South Gorge beach, it was touch and go as to whether they would be able to hold their nuptials outside. South East Queensland had been hit by a deluge with flooding rain spreading up the Northern coast of New South Wales and into Queensland in the days preceding their wedding.  Fingers were crossed for clear skies! and it seemed to work ..

Due to popular demand, Stradbroke Weddings is currently developing ceremony packages for some of our more budget-conscious clients.

For those clients who only require a very simple beach or headland ceremony, we’re streamlining the process. Packages are due to be released by the end of April and will vary in service levels to include hire packages, celebrants, location bookings, flowers and photography, so you can choose the perfect package to suit your needs and budget.

Release of the packages will be announced in the News section of our website shortly, so be sure to look online, or for more information, call Stradbroke Weddings on 3409 8768.

Flowers in bunches

Flowers in bunches

Flowers, flowers, flowers, we love them!

One of the best things about our job is that we spend most of our days surrounded by the scent of voluminous bunches of flowers.
Over the many years we have operated on the Island, Stradbroke Flowers has provided our happy clients with hundreds of bouquets, filled thousands of vases of all shapes and sizes, decorated countless cakes, strewn thousands of petals and adorned hundreds of ceremonies with flowers spilling out from an enormous variety of decorations from tripods and planters to pagodas and arches. It’s all in a day’s work for the busy staff at Stradbroke Flowers!

One of the best parts of our job is delivering our gorgeous flowers to our brides and grooms on the day. Seeing the smiles and hearing the gasps of delight makes our job all the more worthwhile. We just love to make people happy; from our fast, friendly and efficient service to our spectacular flowers, gorgeous gift boxing and prompt delivery on your wedding day, we’re sure you’ll be thrilled with our service from beginning to end.

So why not bypass the risks of using a mainland supplier? With so many variables from missed or cancelled ferries and unfamiliar pick-ups to damage in transport, it’s just not worth the risk and stress. Call Stradbroke Flowers now for your obligation-free quotation and experience the difference of our professional, local service.
