Tourism Travel and Leisure Ball
As you are aware by now the Tourism Travel and Leisure Ball has been postponed due to the high level of wind late yesterday afternoon.
The large marques used for this event made it difficult and dangerous to erect in the high winds. It was essential that the marques be erected yesterday afternoon to assist with the organisation of the event.
While we are extremely disappointed that the Ball has had to be postponed we have already set a date for October.
October 14th (Saturday) is the new date for the Tourism Travel and Leisure Ball and we will be in touch with each and every one of you to book your table.
We are so sorry for all those ladies that were looking forward to dressing up tonight and the men who simply wanted to take their partners somewhere special but a wise person told me that “something good always comes from bad” so lets hope that this new date of Saturday October 14 will allow maximum attendance making the night an awesome memorable experience.
If you didn’t book for the Ball in September, book for the Ball in October!
