B105 - COMING TO RABY BAY, CLEVELAND
Redlands tourism operators would have already been advised by Bree Kloda of Redland City Council, B105 is coming to Cleveland!!!! On Tuesday 17 November, radio station B105 FM will be broadcasting live from the Redlands during their prime drive time slot (6-9am). The broadcasts are being organised to support Brisbane Marketing's major VFR (visiting friends and relatives) campaign, 'My Favourite Spot' and reinforcing the website www.visitbrisbane.com.au.
Redlands Tourism is also eager to support this rare but invaluable opportunity to promote the Redlands on primetime morning FM radio (6am-9am). If you too would like to participate as part of a prize package please contact our office for more information on how you can support us in this great marketing opportunity.
THE GREAT SOUTH EAST
Redlands Tourism has been offered a unique opportunity to run a joint campaign with local tourism operators with Channel 7's The Great South East. It is envisaged the programming would commence early January 2010 and run over a 6-8 month periodical timeline. This proposition gives Redlands Tourism members the opportunity to reach a potential radio and television audience of more than two million people, which ranges from Noosa in the north, Toowoomba in the west, throughout Brisbane, and south across the NSW border. The opportunity to bulk buy such advertising means costs can be greatly reduced for our individual members and by implementing this fantastic opportunity by way of partnership with RT, will further reduce the cost of the individual spots for operators making it an affordable way of promoting your business and the region in the one package.
Redlands Tourism’s promotional program package will receive a total of 58 x 30 second television and radio spots per week on both The Great South East and with radio station 4KQ which will include prime time airplay. In order to gauge operator interest in this promotion, please contact our office so that a detailed prospectus can be mailed out to you. We would like to see the campaign lead into what is traditionally a quiet time in the winter months in the region leading into the whale watching season. We look forward to your feedback on this as soon as possible.

2010 Redlands on Moreton Bay Visitor Guides
Redlands Tourism was recently asked by Redland City Council to submit a proposal to publish the 2010 Redlands on Moreton Bay Visitor Guides. All bidders were encouraged to come up with fresh ideas and layout concepts and we feel we were successful in fulfiling all aspects of the requirements outlined. We are awaiting notification of our proposal's outcome by Redland City Council and will keep you informed of the result. We include in this e-news an example of one of our conceptual designs for the front cover for your interest. The colours depicted in the indigenous art were chosen to represent the Redlands earth colours and are typically associated with cultural heritage, the landscape and Australia in general making them appealing and interesting to the local and international visitor alike. The Redlands on Moreton Bay logo
has been simplified and also incorporated into the dot painting image. The photographic image of Wellington Point at sunset is a typical scene in the Redlands mainland where the land meets the sea. (All rights reserved).
